That’s all, folks: The great big inovoo review of 2016

    • Returning to work from our winter break, the inovoo team wishes you all the best for a happy, successful 2017.

      But before we put the pedal to the metal and unleash all of our new ideas on the new year, we’d like to invite you to look back on the last twelve months with us. This post is all about our personal highlights of 2016.

      January: Kick-off!

      We always start the year with a kick-off meeting, which is partly about illuminating the successes and learning experiences of the past year but which places far greater emphasis on the business year to come. In comfortable surroundings, our colleagues were given a glimpse of how 2016 would look for inovoo.

    • February: New development site opens

      We moved into our new office space at our headquarters in Inning am Ammersee in December 2013. We initially had too many empty rooms: a bit of a problem, but a nice one to have! But by the time of our kick-off meeting in January, when all our colleagues gathered together in one room, it was clear that inovoo had grown enormously.

      In February, we finally opened a new development site in Augsburg. Thanks to its proximity to the city’s university and technical college, we now also employ many student trainees and apprentices who constantly power us forward with their innovative spirit.

      March: Certification, studies and publications

      • “Document Direct” app receives “Trusted App” certificate

      The “Document Direct” app which we developed together with Siemens-Betriebskrankenkasse (SBK) was awarded the “Trusted App” certificate by TÜViT (TÜV NORD GROUP) The certificate confirms that the iOS and Android app meets German federal data protection laws, making it absolutely reliable.

      • Bitkom “Digital Office Index” (DOI) published

      We are one of a number of partners supporting the digital association Bitkom in its production of the “Digital Office Index”, a representative survey of 1,108 businesses with 20 or more employees. The Digital Office Index covers themes including digitization within businesses, its progress forward and its effects. On a scale from 0 (not digitized at all) to 100 (fully digitized), the Digital Office Index is currently sitting at a value of 50. You can compare your business against the Bitkom Digital Office Index benchmarks at the linked site.

      •  Guidelines published:

      - Email management guidelines: Legal basics and practical implementation advice. Here, among other things, you’ll find ten practical tips for properly handling emails within your business.

      - Input and email management navigator: Here you’ll find a list of email solutions providers.

      April: Solutions for the health insurance sector

      • conhIT (Connecting Healthcare IT):

      We shared a booth with BITMARCK at conhIT, the leading healthcare IT event in Europe. As we focused more than ever on the healthcare and insurance market in 2016, this event was a great platform for presenting our innovative products and solutions – such as our family portfolio maintenance app – to a broad audience.

      May: National & international events

      • 26th Pyramid company contact trade show:

      With the tagline “Knowledge and experience” – The Way to Success, we were once again visible at the college show in Augsburg just as we were the previous year. Amid the so-called “war for talent”, this event is a great opportunity to make ourselves known to young and motivated students.

      • EMC World Las Vegas:

      From May 2-5 2016, the legendary Venetian Hotel opened its doors for our partner EMC2’s big event, EMC World 2016. We shared a booth with our American partner MetaSource, the largest reseller of the archiving and workflow solution ApplicationXtender in North America.

      • MetaSource Partner Conference:

      The MetaSource Partner Conference was held in parallel with EMC World. During the event, we held a competition to give away an original traditional Bavarian outfit. To enter the competition, all you had to do was pose for a photo next to our company mascot, NOVO Max, and post the photo to twitter with the hashtag #NOVOMax.

    • June: Ammersee Communication Days

      Our annual Ammersee Communication Days were held on 06/09/16 and 06/10/16. This year, the venue was the BVS Bildungszentrum, in Holzhausen am Ammersee. True to the tagline, “Full steam ahead for digitization”, we and our partners EMC², BITMARCK and Swiss Post Solutions presented a range of innovative products and solutions for managing the digital transformation.

    • July: Company day out

      On 07/24/2016, we had a company day out. In the most perfect summer weather imaginable, the entire team took the steamboat to Herrsching. From there, we took a walk to the famous Kloster Andechs, where we comfortably installed ourselves in the cloister’s traditional beer garden.

    • October: Introducing our new product, “Invoice Booster”

      The Invoice Booster is an app-based solution for optimized, efficient invoice processing. The Invoice Booster lets you quickly and conveniently submit, approve and process invoices on your smartphone. More information can be found here.

      November: Even more events

      • Momentum Barcelona:

      Momentum Barcelona is an exclusive partner event organized by DELL/EMC. Together with our American partner MetaSource, we presented our new Invoice Booster solution and more.

      An award for inovoo:

      At Momentum, inovoo was honored with the Partner Innovation Award by the Dell EMC® Enterprise Content Division (ECD).

      • BITMARCK Customer Day:

      The annual BITMARCK Customer Day is the place to meet executives and experts in the health insurance sector (Gesetzliche Krankenversicherung, GKV). With the headline “GKV 4.0 – The Digital Transformation”, BITMARCK and partners presented an innovative range of products and solutions in response to the digital revolution currently occurring in health insurance.     • December: Christmas promotion

      We couldn’t have made 2016 so successful without our loyal customers and long-term partners, which is why we arranged a very special Christmas promotion to say thank-you.

      And 2017 is already getting up to speed!
